Welcome to Sacred Birman Cattery LV* Gentle Tomson!

LV*Gentle Tomson is a small cattery of Sacred Birman cats in Latvia.

In 2002 the first Sacred Birman cat Dyja Klaudia* EST (SBIf) became a member of our family. I am very thankful for the lucky circumstances under which I was given a long awaited opportunity to acquire a Birman cat. My thanks to Klavdia Soots, a Sacred Birman cats breeder from Estonia!

After almost a year of searching in May of 2009 another Birman cat, Merveille Neige de Saphir*RU (SBIa), finally entered our family thanks to  cattery Bonbon Azur*RU (www.birmania.ru) and the Neige de Saphir*RU cattery. My thanks to Tatiana Chulochnikova, Olga Tarnovskaya and Yaremenko Svetlana for the wonderful Birman female.

In our family Birman cats live as proper members of the family, they do not get put in cages or separate rooms, they are provided with individual attention, lots of love and professional care.

To us breeding of Birman cats is not a family business but rather a hobby, therefore kittens are usually available in the cattery only once or twice a year. Kittens are only sold after a personal contact with the direct buyer. Buyers are also required to come after the kitten themselves (even from foreign countries), kittens are never sold to mediums. All kittens get registered in the FIFe (Federation International Feline) and are always sold with a pedigree, at least twelve weeks old. The kittens are vaccinated and have gone through toilet training.
